DESCRIPTION:Bild: © ENZo – KIT Graduate School Enabling Net Zero\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe KIT Graduate School ENZo invites you to the ENZo Lecture special: „Research-to-Action“ at TRIANGEL on 5 February at 5 pm. \n\n\n\nHow are research results implemented\, how do we reach society with our topics and how do we put technical solutions into practice? The ENZo student teams addressed these questions as part of their Real World Projects (RWP). After an exciting year of idea development\, prototyping and testing\, challenges and highlights\, the first ENZo doctoral student teams present their results.  \n\n\n\nThe next cohort of RWP teams\, the class of 2023/24\, has also already embarked on the journey from research to active action and application and will present their first project ideas. \n\n\n\nThe presentations will be complemented by an appreciation from the KIT Vice President for Transfer and the ENZo management\, a keynote speech from an intrapreneur from science and a panel discussion on the importance of practical projects for academic education. SUMMARY:Gemeinsam Stadt_Machen: Was bewegt die Südstadt?
DESCRIPTION:© KIT-Institut für Regionalwissenschaft (IfR)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWie steht es um den Öffentlichen Raum und das Wohnen in der Karlsruher Südstadt? Das KIT-Institut für Regionalwissenschaft (IfR) und das Institut für Geographie und Geoökologie (IfGG) stellen ihre Forschung vor. \n\n\n\nAm Freitag den 23.02.24 sind alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger\, die sich für Forschung und Quartiersentwicklung in der Karlsruher Südstadt interessieren ins TRIANGEL eingeladen. Vorgestellt werden erste Ergebnisse vom Forschungsaufenthalt am Werderplatz im Sommer 2023. Vor Ort stand eine Woche lang das MobiLab\, eine mobile Forschungsinfrastruktur des KITs\, wo Studierende des Instituts für Regionalwissenschaft (IfR) und des Instituts für Geographie und Geoökologie (IfGG) mit Menschen aus der Südstadt ins Gespräch gekommen sind und Daten erhoben haben. \n\n\n\nDie Themen\, mit denen sich die Studierenden beschäftigen\, sind der Öffentliche Raum\, Wohnen\, Night-Time-Economies sowie Ethnische Ökonomien in der Karlsruher Südstadt. Erste Ergebnisse zu diesen Themen werden in kurzen Präsentationen (Pecha Kucha Format) vorgestellt. Die Präsentationen sind kurzweilig\, unterhaltsam und geben einen spannenden Einblick in die Arbeit unserer Nachwuchs-Stadtforscherinnen und -forscher. \n\n\n\nAußerdem gibt es eine kleine Ausstellung\, bei der Interessierte mit den Studierenden ins Gespräch kommen können. \n\n\n\nDie Teilnahme ist spontan und ohne Anmeldung möglich.
